A modern fort that recalls the glorious past

A mini-castle along the Dutch coast was transformed into a spiral art pavilion and café simultaneously - according to the company's Emma Architecten project.

Classified as part of the world heritage, Fort Diemerdam Fortress is one of the few coastal fortifications in Amsterdam built at the end of the nineteenth century.
