Audi, the luxury brand managed by Volkswagen, offers a full
line of luxury vehicles with outstanding performance.
The roots of Audi can be traced back to 1932 (Auto Union),
however, the car manufacturer as we know it today began in 1965 when Volkswagen
bought Auto Union from Daimler-Benz.
Audi is especially known for its self-evident Quattro
system, among other latest technologies, although reviewers have noted that
some current models are due to technology update. The main competitors are
German luxury makers, Mercedes-Benz and BMW, as well as Japanese luxury brands
Acura, Lexus and Infiniti.
