Audi, the luxury brand managed by Volkswagen, offers a full line of luxury vehicles with outstanding performance.

The roots of Audi can be traced back to 1932 (Auto Union), however, the car manufacturer as we know it today began in 1965 when Volkswagen bought Auto Union from Daimler-Benz.

Audi is especially known for its self-evident Quattro system, among other latest technologies, although reviewers have noted that some current models are due to technology update. The main competitors are German luxury makers, Mercedes-Benz and BMW, as well as Japanese luxury brands Acura, Lexus and Infiniti.

German car makers appreciate very well in the new US car rankings in the News & World Report, taking top points in multiple categories. Audi offers dynamic tools, with features and qualities comparable to its top rivals, often at a more competitive price point than that of its German competitors.

Kwame Akoto-Bamfo

Kwame Akoto-Bamfo is a Ghanaian sculptor. His outdoor sculpture dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Transatlantic slave trade is on display at the National Memorial for Peace and Justice that opened in 2018 in Montgomery, Alabama. His other sculptures include an installation of 1,200 concrete heads representing Ghana’s enslaved ancestors in Accra, the capital of Ghana. Called Faux-Reedom, it was unveiled in 2017.
