The 10 most bizarre flowers in the world

Of course, the human mind can spawn all sorts of imaginations, but the most "imaginative" to create unique images (landscapes) is the Mother Nature. If you do not believe it, just look at the flora and fauna that are naturally created for millions of years on our planet. Or maybe there is an even simpler example to describe the peculiarity of nature: flowers.

Next we bring you 15 strangest flowers types in the world - and their non-scientific (and scientific) names with which they are baptized by people living in the areas where they flourish, or by tourists.

Passion flower can be found in the US and Asia. This flower is very beautiful, so it is not surprising to be liked by the hummingbird.

3. Aguliçja 'Blue Zebra' (Primula acaulis 'Zebra Blue')

Aguliçja 'Blue Zebra' is a strange flower - a zebra in the plant world. And it looks like the name is right.

4. Parrot flowers (Impatiens psittacina)

This flower can be found only in some special areas in Thailand, Burma and India, while it is liked by botanists because of its similarity to the parrot.

This flower while in the process of opening seems like a balloon that is trumpeted. Its appearance is truly amazing.

8. Chinese Lanterns (Physalis alkekengi)

The Chinese lantern is a flower that takes the form of a luminous lantern while it is in the process of blooming. Maybe, this name is not suitable for this flower.

9. (Strongylodon macrobotrys)

The Strongylodon macrobotrys looks like a bunch of bananas. This flower grows in the Philippines, and with its appearance it could be used for any horror scene.

10. (Tricyrtis hirta)

The brand of Tricyrtis bloom seems to be from another planet. However, remember, the most beautiful flowers are the dangerous flowers.

Peter Plogojowitz (Serbian form: Petar Blagojević/Петар Благојевић) was a Serbian peasant believed to have become a vampire after his death and to have killed nine of his fellow villagers. The case was described in the report of Imperial Provisor Frombald, an official of the Austrian administration, who witnessed the exorcism via impalation by stake of Plogojowitz. Peter Plogojowitz lived in a village named Kisilova (Kisiljevo) in the part of Serbia that temporarily passed from Ottoman into Austrian hands after the Treaty of Passarowitz (1718) and was ceded back to the Ottomans with the Treaty of Belgrade (1739). Plogojowitz died in 1725. His death was followed by a spate of other sudden deaths (after very short maladies of about twenty-four hours each). Within eight days, nine persons perished. On their death-beds the victims allegedly claimed to have been throttled by Plogojowitz at night. Plogojowitz's wife stated that he had visited her and asked her for his opanci (...
